Specific freestyle features include ultra short length and reduced nose volume for reduced swing weight and controlled rotation, footstraps angled for easier switch stance access, and double plugged rear and front straps to prevent twisting and handle higher loads.

The PYRO is fast, powerful, and versatile; sail it like Koster with twin fins for playful looseness. In a contest scenario, the improved early planing and better upwind ability of the thruster fin setup is the go. And then when the waves turn on, plug in the quad fins for down-the-line grip and reliability.
The latest iteration of the PYRO utilises clever paint and construction techniques to make it one of the lightest, most high-performing boards available. Each component and detail has been engineered for performance. Everything is premium. Philip does not accept second best.

Using the lightest biaxial carbon provides more feel, more responsiveness and more controlled flex than conventional boards. On the water, this construction will provide you with ultimate performance. It delivers the most direct feedback from the water surface and allows for quicker and more precise movements. With the Carbon Reflex construction you’ll start planing earlier and keep more speed through turns and wind holes.
