Designed with a slightly more pulled-in nose and a progressive rocker curve, the Quad 9 delivers a tighter turning radius, while retaining the effortless glide riders loved in the previous generation, adding acceleration and top-end speed.
The new Pro Carbon construction is now lighter than earlier versions, The new shapes and construction feel slippier, looser, and more rail-to-rail-oriented, offering performance once reserved for custom boards only. Main window panel: 6 mil Bi-PLY from Dimension Polyant features two 3 mil layers of PET film. This creates a softer hand, improved flex and reduced creasing. The UV inhibitors in the adhesive significantly increases the life of the product in comparison to traditional monofilm Upper window panels: 4 mil high quality Monfofilm from Dimension Polyant. Upper body color panels: 2.5 mil Scrim from Dimension-Polyant is a polyester scrim plus X-PLY ® which are designed for reduced weight while still offering reduced stretch of a traditional X-PLY ® only product. The recipe for the One starts with a Custom Thruster base shape, adding a Slalom Rocker and installing Bump & Jump freeriding geometry. Building on our latest progressive wave shapes, generation 12 of the One has become more agile than ever, while not compensating through reduced speed. Quite the opposite, the One is lighter and packs more fastness than ever before. Removed deck sticker for lightness and sustainability, Powerbox for lightness and strength. Essentially the best of all worlds, fusing the best traits of each of our boards into one. The One 12 Carbon. Generation 12. Combining explosive speed, range, and ultimate comfort. Ridable with the center straps or outboard straps, as a thruster or single fin. The new volume displacement, reduced weight, increased waterflow, and new compact outline bring all the power right below the rider. Improving agility and comfort on those longer, choppy runs. Goya Guru X Pro Windsurfing Sail – Blue 4.2 & 4.7
Wave performance and also high wind comfort, confidence and control in any water condition. The vinyl window makes the Guru X Pro unique. It creates a very smooth and comfortable power delivery, as well as the most durable sail in our lineup. Vinyl is practically indestructible and will stay crystal clear for the life of the sail. The new Guru X Pro is the result of 25 years of design evolution and the process and progress continues.
Francisco Goya claims it as his personal favorite, and as of late, Levi Siver has been spending time on the Guru X Pro in the pure wave conditions of Ho’okipa and loving it. Makes sense, because that’s where the design was born and established many years ago. Continuing its development around the world, high winds of The Gorge, and spots like Pozo have helped to tune up the smaller sizes to work as magnificent as the rest of the line. The goal has always been for the 3.2 to feel like the 4.7 and through lots of prototypes and testing in those extreme conditions were we finally able to achieve it. Guru X Pro offers a huge rigging range. With it’s soft power delivery and smooth progressive twist, you can rig this sail very full and still fill comfortably in control.
