The recipe for the One begins with a Custom Thruster base shape, a Slalom‑inspired rocker, and Bump & Jump freeride geometry. Generation 13 takes this proven foundation and elevates it with a new lighter construction, transforming the way the board feels underfoot. By reducing weight, every characteristic is amplified: the board accelerates more quickly, responds more instantly, and delivers a smoother, more connected ride across all conditions.The lighter build also enhances agility, making transitions from planing to flying over chop to carving through jibes feel effortless and natural. Sustainability plays a role too, with the removal of the deck sticker in favour of a mightier transfer. The Powerbox system in 95l – 125l supports larger fins and a simplified setup with a single screw from the deck. Whilst the smaller 78l and 85l come with US Boxes for added weight saving and more tuning range. The result is a board that fuses explosive speed, extended range, and ultimate comfort into one package.

Main window panel: 6 mil Bi-PLY from Dimension Polyant features two 3 mil layers of PET film. This creates a softer hand, improved flex and reduced creasing. The UV inhibitors in the adhesive significantly increases the life of the product in comparison to traditional monofilm. Upper window panels: 4 mil high quality Monfofilm from Dimension Polyant. Upper color body panels: 1.5 mil Ultra low stretch linear Warp Carbon fiber laminate yarns arrayed to control load lines in the sail combined with super strong Technora aramid X-Ply. Warp Carbon gives incredible linear control of the sail profile while also allowing a dynamic, torsional, bias stretch and return. This makes the sails feel very quiet, weightless and very resistant to being overpowered. Lower body color panels: 2.5 mil Scrim from Dimension-Polyant is a polyester scrim plus X-PLY ® which are designed for reduced weight while still offering reduced stretch of a traditional X-PLY ® only product. Foot/Tack panel: 4 mil Aramid Scrim has an upgraded scrim with larger denier fibers, while still keeping the high tenacity aramid X-PLY ®. The Banzai Pro is the “go to” 4 batten worldwide wave sail for our top riders Marcilio Browne (PWA wave world champion) and Loick Lesauvage. The Banzai Pro is the answer and solution to all demands of a light weight, direct power delivery, wide range sail with heaps of flex feel and control. The adaptability of the Banzai Pro is unparalleled.
Unique to the Banzai Pro design 2021 concept is the back-hand throttle control. The sail pulls forward from “low RPMs” and is very balanced, but there is always a little “extra” available off the back hand for when you really need to juice up into a jump or maneuver. This tactile back-hand feel gives you a direct connection to how the sail is loading and releasing and allows you stay connected throughout your maneuvers. Marcilio Browne has driven this concept, insisting that the sails maintain the connected feel, providing him supreme confidence and control through technical and radical maneuvers. There is a trend in the market for more “neutral” feeling wave sails, and while there is a place for more of that on other Goya models, the Banzai Pro is designed for a more positive rider connection to instant power delivery. The Banzai Pro window material is Bi-Ply film. This “sleeper” feature is a massive step up from mono film. Bi-Ply is two layers of laminated clear film, lasting about 3x longer than mono film. It is UV protected and highly resistant to hard creases.
