The new Bolt 4 Carbon, is our fastest ever Freerace board, and we are excited about its ultimate forward drive paired with empowering open ocean comfort. Its 4th generation puts it all together under your feet, ready out of the box, racing performance to be experienced by everyone.
Racing Cut-Outs.
As in our dedicated race boards, the Bolt 4 Carbon comes with pronounced Racing Tail Cut-Outs in combination with a light tail release that aids in reducing the wetted surface.
Aerodynamics.
The new aerodynamically recessed mast track aids in keeping the nose low and strengthens the deck area by removing high spots prone to impact.
Plastic Free.
All Goya Windsurfing boards now come packed in recycled cardboard and paper tape only. Keeping our planet one step cleaner as our love for windsurfing and our home only grows.
Finish.
Available in Neon Blue Tech-Reveal finish over Carbon, with Pastel Green artwork and black pads. Matte rails for augmented speed.
Technology.
Vacuum Lamination. The Bolt 4 Carbon follows a bespoke race board build process, with only the very best composites applied by hand. Including our proprietary high-end vacuum lamination process developed on Maui, formulated to withstand even harsh water impact, without effect on hull integrity.
Construction.
Full Carbon Deck. A full Carbon Deck on top of full Hyper Skin HD High Density foam sandwich on deck, bottom and rails give this board supreme light weight and stiffness. Bonded to its core through vaccum lamination, we ensure the superior material qualities get translated into the body of the board.
Materials.
Carbon. The entire deck gets vacuum laminated in Plain Weave Carbon for outstanding structural strength. The padded stance area gets additionally reinforced. The Bolt 4 Carbon offers utmost high end performance whenever and wherever you want it.
CNC Shaped.
Precision CNC shaped and hand-built to our exact standards, every model adheres to the non-stop evolving technologies we have developed on Maui since 1994.
Design.

Hydrodynamics.
The Bolt 4 Carbon received our fastest tail rocker, a smooth entry rocker line, pronounced V and double concaves. Paired with its full carbon deck they make these shapes explosively fast in flat waters and highly comfortable on large open ocean crossings.

A blend of light weight feel, power, control and range with some extra juice when you need it. A new profile combined with a more unified twist from bottom to top creates a more efficient and lighter feeling sail giving you more range and control especially in down the line conditions. Handling Characteristic: The lift is slightly higher up and further back compared to Banzai Surf Pro and Banzai Max Pro, which promotes a more upright feel but also gives a touch of back hand pressure for more throttle when you need it. Main window panel: 6 mil Bi-PLY from Dimension Polyant features two 3 mil layers of PET film. This creates a softer hand, improved flex and reduced creasing. The UV inhibitors in the adhesive significantly increases the life of the product in comparison to traditional monofilm Upper window panels: 4 mil high quality Monfofilm from Dimension Polyant. Upper body color panels: 2.5 mil Scrim from Dimension-Polyant is a polyester scrim plus X-PLY ® which are designed for reduced weight while still offering reduced stretch of a traditional X-PLY ® only product. Foot/Tack panel: 4 mil Aramid Scrim has an upgraded scrim with larger denier fibers, while still keeping the high tenacity aramid X-PLY ®. It has a much greater tear and puncture resistance at the highest impact of pure wave riding. Carbon stretch control tapes are produced using bundles of pretensioned carbon fiber to ensure low stretch and zero crimp. Upgraded PSA adhesive allows for aggressive tack. The Airbolt Pro range is the perfect solution for any bump & jump/wave/freestyle oriented windsurfer looking to increase their water time.
The Airbolt Pro marks a new direction in wind foiling, bringing the feeling of rail-to-rail wave sailing and high wind bump & jump to those ‘average’ days where the conditions at your local spot are marginal. Using our crossover knowledge and feedback from R&D with Surf foiling – we have created a board range that introduces a new sensation to Windsurf Foiling. The Airbolt Pro’s key design feature comes from mast track: foil box placement, delivering the industry’s most direct feeling from the sail to the foil for increased control and maximum responsiveness. The mast track is placed further back then traditional boards and the foil boxes are placed further forward than standard windfoil boards – more like surf, SUP, and wing boards. This allows a swifter and more controlled change in direction and acceleration while carving on swells, wind-chop, or small waves – and the ability to ride much smaller sails and foils in the same wind range. The larger sizes are easy to learn on while the smaller sizes provide the maneuverability and responsiveness you’d expect from your favorite wave or bump & jump board. The length and width of the boards are designed to provide a stable and lively platform. Long enough that you can slog in light winds effortlessly, but short enough to reduce the swing weight when flying. The bottom shape is crucial to any foil board, and every success from our surf foil line has been factored into the Airbolt. From the nose through the mid-section the Air Bolt is designed for maximum rebound when you inevitably touch down to the water. The back of the board incorporates a rocker line and planing surface similar to our race/freerace/freestyle program to ensure easy glide for early flight. Volume flow has been optimized gradually to the rear of the boards to increase stability in the lightest of breezes. Footstrap and foil box positions offer a variety of options depending on the level and type of foiling you want. Outboard/inboard foot strap options provide comfort for cruising or control for new-school foil freestyle maneuvers on the smaller models. The boards feature both track and foil box attachment systems.
