By designing the insert layout to offer more real, usable and gradual stance options, we can reduce the total number of inserts.That means less perforation into the board, smaller reinforcement zones, and a reduced pad footprint — all of which contribute to a lighter and stronger board.

Main window panel: 6 mil Bi-PLY from Dimension Polyant features two 3 mil layers of PET film. This creates a softer hand, improved flex and reduced creasing. The UV inhibitors in the adhesive significantly increases the life of the product in comparison to traditional monofilm Upper window panels: 4 mil high quality Monfofilm from Dimension Polyant. Upper body color panels: 2.5 mil Scrim from Dimension-Polyant is a polyester scrim plus X-PLY ® which are designed for reduced weight while still offering reduced stretch of a traditional X-PLY ® only product. Foot/Tack panel: 4 mil Aramid Scrim has an upgraded scrim with larger denier fibers, while still keeping the high tenacity aramid X-PLY ®. It has a much greater tear and puncture resistance at the highest impact of pure wave riding. The Airbolt Pro range is the perfect solution for any bump & jump/wave/freestyle oriented windsurfer looking to increase their water time.
The Airbolt Pro marks a new direction in wind foiling, bringing the feeling of rail-to-rail wave sailing and high wind bump & jump to those ‘average’ days where the conditions at your local spot are marginal. Using our crossover knowledge and feedback from R&D with Surf foiling – we have created a board range that introduces a new sensation to Windsurf Foiling. The Airbolt Pro’s key design feature comes from mast track: foil box placement, delivering the industry’s most direct feeling from the sail to the foil for increased control and maximum responsiveness. The mast track is placed further back then traditional boards and the foil boxes are placed further forward than standard windfoil boards – more like surf, SUP, and wing boards. This allows a swifter and more controlled change in direction and acceleration while carving on swells, wind-chop, or small waves – and the ability to ride much smaller sails and foils in the same wind range. The larger sizes are easy to learn on while the smaller sizes provide the maneuverability and responsiveness you’d expect from your favorite wave or bump & jump board. The length and width of the boards are designed to provide a stable and lively platform. Long enough that you can slog in light winds effortlessly, but short enough to reduce the swing weight when flying. The bottom shape is crucial to any foil board, and every success from our surf foil line has been factored into the Airbolt. From the nose through the mid-section the Air Bolt is designed for maximum rebound when you inevitably touch down to the water. The back of the board incorporates a rocker line and planing surface similar to our race/freerace/freestyle program to ensure easy glide for early flight. Volume flow has been optimized gradually to the rear of the boards to increase stability in the lightest of breezes. Footstrap and foil box positions offer a variety of options depending on the level and type of foiling you want. Outboard/inboard foot strap options provide comfort for cruising or control for new-school foil freestyle maneuvers on the smaller models. The boards feature both track and foil box attachment systems. Goya Guru X Pro Windsurfing Sail – Blue 4.2 & 4.7
Wave performance and also high wind comfort, confidence and control in any water condition. The vinyl window makes the Guru X Pro unique. It creates a very smooth and comfortable power delivery, as well as the most durable sail in our lineup. Vinyl is practically indestructible and will stay crystal clear for the life of the sail. The new Guru X Pro is the result of 25 years of design evolution and the process and progress continues.
Francisco Goya claims it as his personal favorite, and as of late, Levi Siver has been spending time on the Guru X Pro in the pure wave conditions of Ho’okipa and loving it. Makes sense, because that’s where the design was born and established many years ago. Continuing its development around the world, high winds of The Gorge, and spots like Pozo have helped to tune up the smaller sizes to work as magnificent as the rest of the line. The goal has always been for the 3.2 to feel like the 4.7 and through lots of prototypes and testing in those extreme conditions were we finally able to achieve it. Guru X Pro offers a huge rigging range. With it’s soft power delivery and smooth progressive twist, you can rig this sail very full and still fill comfortably in control. Rigging the sail flatter on the outhaul is possible for a more neutral handling feel in higher wind and maneuver-oriented conditions.
