Feeling.
The new Nitro 2 Pro has a more connected feel to your feet through its dome deck, making it an instant response to rider input. Reduced swing weight throught its shorter lenght, and volume flow right below you, means the Nitro 2 feels even lighter and more balanced during maneuvers. Faster, earlier planning with less drag due to the new rocker, sharper rails and increased water flow keeps the board planning through lulls longer. Overall a much lighter, more efficient board with a more responsive and engaging feel across all conditions.
Construction.
A holistically reimagined construction process, consisting of continuous layers of Biaxial, Uni-Directional, and Plain Weave into our proprietary Carbon Monocoque – connecting mast track and stance to rails and bottom, forming a cohesive whole without patches and fillers – as well as a full S-Glass hull enables us to now craft boards lighter and stronger, identical to our custom boards built on Maui. A tailored Hyper Skin sandwich layout creates the ultimate strength-to-weight ratio. S-glass rail bands provide ideal torsional strength without adding weight or reducing flex where you want it.
Description.
You have seen the team using these compact & light boards from Ho’okipa to Sylt for a few years now, with the back strap almost off the tail, and carrying Marcilio to his fourth World Title from On-Shore to Side-Shore; now all that and more is available.
As soon as we finished the new Custom Quad and Custom Thruster, we jumped directly into the Nitro’s, applying all the same geometry and fluid dynamics. Dozens of prototypes led to all new shapes and a revolutionary compact design with World Cup Winning Performance.
With over two years of evolution, generation 2 of the Nitro Pro is our pinnacle Compact Wave Board. Improved efficiency and volume distribution with reduced friction and increased water flow allowed us to shorten the new Nitro Pro without losing any of the lengthier previous generation’s speed. Through its improved geometry, placing the rider right on the tail allows us to get deeper into the tightest sections of the wave, right where we want to be, but with more speed and turnability under our feet. A word on weight, custom-built US boxes for lightness and compatibility, removed deck sticker for lightness and sustainability.
Nitro Pro 2 and Custom Quad & Thruster are kindred souls. While not fully identical, their shapes are highly related, yet specifically catering to their respective conditions and fin setups. So, if anyone likes one, they will most definitely like the other.

The combination of a more efficient rocker, bottom shape, sharper & tapered rails, creates a much faster board. Translating into better balance, earlier planning as well as higher top end speed & control.

Fine-tuned to work as a Quad on the three smaller sizes and as a Thruster on the two larger ones without compromise.

Pads.
Dual Density Pads, redesigned from the ground up, provide better grip and comfort. A new layout and optimized dual-density blend means you have the right support and cushioning where you need it whilst saving weight and minimizing drag. The new patterns are angled in the right direction to give you maximum grip and connection to the board.
Fins.
Drawing inspiration from the well-known “TF series” and our research and development in Surfing fins, we’ve incorporated a few upgrades into this new setup. The carbon composite construction ensures consistent flex and torsion with a quick response, enabling you to achieve top speed, early planning, and excellent maneuverability. The new Tip features a 1mm channel to minimize drag at high speeds and facilitate water flow release, enhancing the ability to make quick changes in direction.

A focus on maximum maneuverability and control in surf and surf like conditions. This all new design has a very neutral feel. You are free to draw your own lines on the wave and surf exactly how you want. Effortless drive and lightness allowing you to sail for hours. Handling Characteristic: Banzai Surf Pro is a bit more high aspect with a shorter boom compared to Banzai 11 Pro and Banzai Max this combined with the lower and more centered positioned lift gives you a balanced neutral feel for maximum control and maneuverability. A blend of light weight feel, power, control and range with some extra juice when you need it. A new profile combined with a more unified twist from bottom to top creates a more efficient and lighter feeling sail giving you more range and control especially in down the line conditions. Handling Characteristic: The lift is slightly higher up and further back compared to Banzai Surf Pro and Banzai Max Pro, which promotes a more upright feel but also gives a touch of back hand pressure for more throttle when you need it. Main window panel: 6 mil Bi-PLY from Dimension Polyant features two 3 mil layers of PET film. This creates a softer hand, improved flex and reduced creasing. The UV inhibitors in the adhesive significantly increases the life of the product in comparison to traditional monofilm Upper window panels: 4 mil high quality Monfofilm from Dimension Polyant. Upper body color panels: 2.5 mil Scrim from Dimension-Polyant is a polyester scrim plus X-PLY ® which are designed for reduced weight while still offering reduced stretch of a traditional X-PLY ® only product. Foot/Tack panel: 4 mil Aramid Scrim has an upgraded scrim with larger denier fibers, while still keeping the high tenacity aramid X-PLY ®. It has a much greater tear and puncture resistance at the highest impact of pure wave riding. Taking our latest and most progressive wave shapes and increasing both length and width ever so slightly results in what is your go-to if you prefer a Thruster setup, yet as radical a wave board as the Quad. Akin to the Banzai concept, this is essentially one wave board tuned in two ways. Originating from the same new exuberant shapes as the Custom Quad, with the addition of a faster and sharper tail rocker, the Custom Thruster packs even more speed, stability and waft than the Quad. Easily as radical, the Thruster however is a touch more forgiving. The primary target of these progressive boards was applying the learnings from our new favorite Custom Quads and adding much more range to them. Voilà the Custom Thruster 4 Pro Carbon. Generation 4. Both boards are faster and lighter with added comfort and control. Custom built US boxes for lightness and compatibility, removed deck sticker for lightness and sustainability. Keeping in mind how more and more people love the Custom Thruster for bump & jump riding, drove us to also focus on refining the lowend speed characteristics, to plane earlier, jump higher, while not deviating an inch from those radical turns that stay with you long after your session has ended. The Airbolt Pro range is the perfect solution for any bump & jump/wave/freestyle oriented windsurfer looking to increase their water time.
The Airbolt Pro marks a new direction in wind foiling, bringing the feeling of rail-to-rail wave sailing and high wind bump & jump to those ‘average’ days where the conditions at your local spot are marginal. Using our crossover knowledge and feedback from R&D with Surf foiling – we have created a board range that introduces a new sensation to Windsurf Foiling. The Airbolt Pro’s key design feature comes from mast track: foil box placement, delivering the industry’s most direct feeling from the sail to the foil for increased control and maximum responsiveness. The mast track is placed further back then traditional boards and the foil boxes are placed further forward than standard windfoil boards – more like surf, SUP, and wing boards. This allows a swifter and more controlled change in direction and acceleration while carving on swells, wind-chop, or small waves – and the ability to ride much smaller sails and foils in the same wind range. The larger sizes are easy to learn on while the smaller sizes provide the maneuverability and responsiveness you’d expect from your favorite wave or bump & jump board. The length and width of the boards are designed to provide a stable and lively platform. Long enough that you can slog in light winds effortlessly, but short enough to reduce the swing weight when flying. The bottom shape is crucial to any foil board, and every success from our surf foil line has been factored into the Airbolt. From the nose through the mid-section the Air Bolt is designed for maximum rebound when you inevitably touch down to the water. The back of the board incorporates a rocker line and planing surface similar to our race/freerace/freestyle program to ensure easy glide for early flight. Volume flow has been optimized gradually to the rear of the boards to increase stability in the lightest of breezes. Footstrap and foil box positions offer a variety of options depending on the level and type of foiling you want. Outboard/inboard foot strap options provide comfort for cruising or control for new-school foil freestyle maneuvers on the smaller models. The boards feature both track and foil box attachment systems.
