New for 026, even the batten pockets are engineered using CarbonFusion. This creates a smooth, stitchless sail from the back of the mast sleeve to the leech. Eliminating thousands of micro-holes created by stitching delivers multiple benefits:

BLADE _CONTROL ORIENTED WAVE
More power. All the control. The Blade delivers 5-batten stability without the traditional weight compromise. Forward driving profiles and reduced backhand pressure mean slight wind variations go unnoticed. The sail does the work; you focus on sailing. The 026 Blade has been rebuilt from the ground up to increase power and integrate the latest development concepts: XR Xtended Range: Developed to increase wind range at both the lower AND higher ends. Deeper, more powerful profiles are locked in place with added skin tension to enhance control and stability. Fat Head: Originally developed for the S-1, the increased head roach opens further under load, improving high-end control and wind range. Smaller sizes have relatively fatter heads whilst bigger sizes balance the head size for better aero efficiency. DirectConnect: A system of directly connecting the load points of the sail to any hardware – masts, battens and boom. Zero lag means the sail reacts instantly to rider input. CarbonFusion Trickle-Down: The BladePro construction is trickling down into the Blade, with welded foot panels and carbon load transfer strips in the head and tack. Gradient Panel Technology: Overlapped corners logically reduce weight, increase strength and control stretch. The 026 Blade sets a new standard by integrating these design concepts with industry-leading materials, including VX2, SpiderFibre, eM4 as well as the new D6 Dacron in the luff. With the new GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY improvements are obvious. Lighter weight and better stability.
Corners have overlapped panels which reduces the amount of patching. At the same time, these overlapped areas extend into the body of the sail so it transitions the load much better, will be less stretched over time. It’s a more stable way of building sails.
Rather than a single curved luff panel, the Blade uses separate panels that radiate out of the head and tack corners. This perfectly aligns the sail material with the direction of load. Previously the curved panel would have bias stretch in all the wrong places. Direct transmission of power. Increased longevity. Total Control.

What inspired the Cross?
David Ezzy needed one sail that would satisfy his two loves, foiling and windsurfing. He took what he learned from the past 4 years of foiling and combined it with his 40 years of wave and freeriding to come up with the Cross.
How does the Cross compare to last year’s Hydra and Hydra Pro?
The Cross is much lighter weight compared to the Hydras with similar stability, speed, and handling while being much better for fin freeriding.
How does it compare to the Cheetah?
The Cross is maneuverable and light in the hands, providing a bump-n-jump freeride experience, whereras the Cheetah provides a locked-in freeride experience. For high wind freeriding, we recommend the 4.7 Cross as the next size below the 5.5 Cheetah.
How does the Cross achieve high performance for both foiling and regular windsurfing?
The Cross can be rigged flat with a shallow yet defined profile for foiling OR rigged full with a deep, forward profile for freeride and bump’n’jump. The settings are easy to see with our calibrated downhaul gauge.

Severne Convert Sail – Red (6.7m + 7.5m)
The Convert is a fully-featured freeride sail at an entry-level price.
An obvious choice for any progressing windsurfer, the Convert is purpose built to be easy to use. Weight is kept to a minimum, boom lengths are short and downhaul tensions are reduced for easier rigging and nice, soft handling characteristics.
The Convert is packed with features including dropped clew for shorter, more manageable boom lengths. The shaping and geometry are set up for a balanced, stable feel and a forward pulling drive for a relaxed, easy stance.
The 2020 Convert features dacron Flex Zones that absorb chop impact and gusts to give an incredibly smooth ride.
