The E-Types are a family of medium aspect wings. By nature, medium aspect wings are versatile, maneuverable and easy to control. This makes them all-round: they are suitable for a wide range of foiling styles. The Pro versions of the E-Type offer the technical rider more speed, quicker acceleration and more pop. Our most recommended wing for freestyle and high-performance freeride. Designed in collaboration with World Freestyle Champion Lennart Neubauer, SUP Surfing World Champion Benoit Carpentier and European Freestyle Champion Steven Van Broekhoven.

2025 Starboard Foils GLIDER 2 Front Wing
ALL-ROUND HIGH LIFT
The Gliders are considered 'all-round' because they suit multiple types of foiling: wing foiling, downwind, pump foiling, wave foiling and wake foiling. It's therefore important to select the correct size. The Glider series go from a tiny 750 all the way up to a giant 2000.
- 2000, 1700, 1400: absolutely amazing wings for efficient lightwind wing foiling, pump foiling and riding baby bumps.
- 1100, 900, 750: smaller sizes add maneuverability, control and speed. The smaller you go, the more suitable the wing becomes for wave riding, wing foiling in stronger wind conditions and riding larger swells.

2025 Starboard Foils E-TYPE PRO Front Wing
ALL-ROUND FREESTYLE
The E-Types are a family of medium aspect wings. By nature, medium aspect wings are versatile, maneuverable and easy to control. This makes them all-round: they are suitable for a wide range of foiling styles.
The Pro versions of the E-Type offer the technical rider more speed, quicker acceleration and more pop. Our most recommended wing for freestyle and high-performance freeride. Designed in collaboration with World Freestyle Champion Lennart Neubauer, SUP Surfing World Champion Benoit Carpentier and European Freestyle Champion Steven Van Broekhoven.
*900, 750 and 625 sizes are all-new, auto-optimised shapes. The E-Type 1100 is carried over from our 2024 collection, where it was called the Freeride 1100.
