Step on the new Carrera 5 Carbon, and you’ll wonder if it was custom-built for you. From the first moments on the water, it’s easy to accelerate and release onto a plane. Once powered up, the board sits high, flies effortlessly over chop and surf, and stays perfectly trimmed through lulls. When you are ready to jibe, the refined outline, dome deck, and wave-inspired rail taper offer confidence to push harder and exit even faster than what you came into. The result is an exhilarating ride across all conditions.
Construction.
We’ve re-engineered our build process around a continuous layering of Biaxial, Unidirectional, and Plain Weave carbon, creating a Carbon Monocoque™ that ties together mast track, stance area, rails, and bottom into one cohesive structure—free of excess patches or fillers. Combined with a full S-Glass and Hyper Skin™ full Top & Bottom Sandwich layout, the result is a lighter, stronger board—identical in quality to our Maui customs since 1994.
Description.
This is not a Blue Volar, and it does not have entry-level insert options. This is the All New Carrera 5 Carbon, a Raceboard with a FreeWave deck that lets you connect the sole of your foot with the deck below, paired with a race rocker & cut-outs, nothing stops you from flying at max speed with the confidence over chop and open ocean swells that you only felt on your wave board—built like a race board, still strong to handle all the excitement.
The all-new Carrera 5 Carbon combines our latest Race and Freewave design knowledge, fusing speed, limitless range, and ultimate comfort into a single shape. It is exceptionally light, responsive, and exhilarating to ride, and it will keep you out there having the most fun you’ve ever had windsurfing.
Slanted Single inserts seamlessly link the Outboard & Inboard footstraps range into one, allowing you to tailor your stance for rail trimming speed runs to a more relaxed inboard freeriding.
Each size comes with the New MFC® Liquid Pro Fin, Footstraps, and our KT Single-to-Dual Density Pads—sloped and segmented for reduced drag, premium grip, and shock absorption.

Refined Race Bottom: A blend of V and double concaves under the mast track (Direct from our Racing boards) breaks down chop for a smoother ride. The shallower V off the tail cut-outs ensures clean water release and top-end speed. A new higher entry, paired with V and double concave through the midsection of the board, tapering to a faster, shallower V of the tail.

This streamlined approach reduces perforations, making the boards lighter and stronger without losing versatility.

Wider Tail & Parallel Rail Line: A slightly wider tail and straighter rail line further maximize planing efficiency.
Inserts.
The Carrera 5 features a single-angle insert accommodating Outboard (Advance) and Inboard (Intermediate) positions. This design allows riders to shift forward for a more centered stance or further back for increased leverage on the rail. By reducing the number of perforations and insets, we’re keeping the boards lighter, stronger, and simpler to set up while offering versatility for different riding styles and skill levels.

Goya Banzai Pro Windsurfing Sail – Yellow 5.3 Now £499
The Banzai Pro is the “go to” 4 batten worldwide wave sail for our top riders Marcilio Browne (PWA wave world champion) and Loick Lesauvage. The Banzai Pro is the answer and solution to all demands of a light weight, direct power delivery, wide range sail with heaps of flex feel and control. The adaptability of the Banzai Pro is unparalleled.
Unique to the Banzai Pro design 2021 concept is the back-hand throttle control. The sail pulls forward from “low RPMs” and is very balanced, but there is always a little “extra” available off the back hand for when you really need to juice up into a jump or maneuver. This tactile back-hand feel gives you a direct connection to how the sail is loading and releasing and allows you stay connected throughout your maneuvers. Marcilio Browne has driven this concept, insisting that the sails maintain the connected feel, providing him supreme confidence and control through technical and radical maneuvers. There is a trend in the market for more “neutral” feeling wave sails, and while there is a place for more of that on other Goya models, the Banzai Pro is designed for a more positive rider connection to instant power delivery. The Banzai Pro window material is Bi-Ply film. This “sleeper” feature is a massive step up from mono film. Bi-Ply is two layers of laminated clear film, lasting about 3x longer than mono film. It is UV protected and highly resistant to hard creases. Goya Guru X Pro Windsurfing Sail – Blue 4.2 & 4.7
Wave performance and also high wind comfort, confidence and control in any water condition. The vinyl window makes the Guru X Pro unique. It creates a very smooth and comfortable power delivery, as well as the most durable sail in our lineup. Vinyl is practically indestructible and will stay crystal clear for the life of the sail. The new Guru X Pro is the result of 25 years of design evolution and the process and progress continues.
Francisco Goya claims it as his personal favorite, and as of late, Levi Siver has been spending time on the Guru X Pro in the pure wave conditions of Ho’okipa and loving it. Makes sense, because that’s where the design was born and established many years ago. Continuing its development around the world, high winds of The Gorge, and spots like Pozo have helped to tune up the smaller sizes to work as magnificent as the rest of the line. The goal has always been for the 3.2 to feel like the 4.7 and through lots of prototypes and testing in those extreme conditions were we finally able to achieve it. Guru X Pro offers a huge rigging range. With it’s soft power delivery and smooth progressive twist, you can rig this sail very full and still fill comfortably in control.
