The Hover Ascend Wing Board series has been specifically designed for a specialized usage in the field of wing foiling. Designed to be ridden a size smaller than our Hover Wing Foil Carbon Ultras, they offer a comparably thinner parallel planform with increased waterline. The parallel outline and increased water line makes it possible to get on the foil with minimal effort. In the smaller sizes (up to the 92) these boards are crafted with a flat tail rocker while the larger sizes feature a tail kick that makes them suitable for dual-purpose use as both SUP foil boards and wing foil boards.

Born from the rockerlines of the Hover Surf Ascend, the NEW Chimera Range shapes have been evolved to know no limits, transcending expectations of what’s possible on a foil in the surf. Constructed with a Biaxial Carbon / glass sandwich, superior strength is a fundamental feature in maintaining key structural aspects of the board, preventing denting or cracking on hard landings, whilst preserving a lighter overall weight than ever before. The narrow outline paired with its low-volume composition dramatically enhances the boards maneuverability and optimized turning capability on waves. The increased waterline and bottom shaping offers heightened momentum during take-offs and faster acceleration from the water’s surface. The beveled rail grants speedy touchdowns and a super sharp tail release for maximum efficiency when getting on foil, allowing the rider to ride around 10 liters lower than their typical board. SIZES: 3 | 4 | 5 The Wing-Surfer Matador is compact, light, and powerful. It is designed for wing foilers that want to use the smallest wing possible for the prevailing wind conditions, with a focus on riding swells and waves. The Matador has a deeper draft and larger diameter leading edge and strut than a comparably sized Wing-Surfer, with the power placed even further forward. The leading-edge taper is more pointed at the center and carries more dihedral across the wingspan. This all comes together to create a wing that drives upwind with ease, then flags in neutral with amazing stability and balance for riding waves, swells, and doing downwinders. With tons of sheet-in-and-go power, even heavier riders will find it easy to get up on their foil. Once flagged into neutral on a wave or swell, the light and nimble airframe all but disappears like a bull fighter’s cape — allowing you to carve and glide with ease. Thus, the name “Matador.” Unlike the all-around Wing-Surfer, the Matador is designed to be ridden mostly upwind then flagged downwind, so the windows are small and placed where an experienced rider needs them when riding windward, knowing that most of the time the wing will be flagged behind them with full visibility.
