Unlike other brands, the thickness of the fabric and film used has not been reduced and thus the well-known durability of the SUPER_HERO is fully maintained! With the new GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY improvements are obvious. Lighter weight and better stability.
Corners have overlapped panels which reduces the amount of patching. At the same time, these overlapped areas extend into the body of the sail so it transitions the load much better, will be less stretched over time. It’s a more stable way of building sails.
Rather than a single curved luff panel, the Blade uses separate panels that radiate out of the head and tack corners. This perfectly aligns the sail material with the direction of load. Previously the curved panel would have bias stretch in all the wrong places. Direct transmission of power. Increased longevity. Total Control.

The Banzai Pro is the “go to” 4 batten worldwide wave sail for our top riders Marcilio Browne (PWA wave world champion) and Loick Lesauvage. The Banzai Pro is the answer and solution to all demands of a light weight, direct power delivery, wide range sail with heaps of flex feel and control. The adaptability of the Banzai Pro is unparalleled.
Unique to the Banzai Pro design 2021 concept is the back-hand throttle control. The sail pulls forward from “low RPMs” and is very balanced, but there is always a little “extra” available off the back hand for when you really need to juice up into a jump or maneuver. This tactile back-hand feel gives you a direct connection to how the sail is loading and releasing and allows you stay connected throughout your maneuvers. Marcilio Browne has driven this concept, insisting that the sails maintain the connected feel, providing him supreme confidence and control through technical and radical maneuvers. There is a trend in the market for more “neutral” feeling wave sails, and while there is a place for more of that on other Goya models, the Banzai Pro is designed for a more positive rider connection to instant power delivery. The Banzai Pro window material is Bi-Ply film. This “sleeper” feature is a massive step up from mono film. Bi-Ply is two layers of laminated clear film, lasting about 3x longer than mono film. It is UV protected and highly resistant to hard creases. THE ULTIMATE 4 BATTEN WAVE SAIL
Through the past year we have worked with Ricardo Campello, Robby Naish and our test team to fine tune the Force 4. In addition to a fresh new color combo we went through and improved the range size-by-size. For the 5.0 and up we kept the more powerful feel with a slightly tighter leech, accommodating the need for plenty of sail power, especially in onshore and side-onshore conditions. In addition to Maui, testing was done in Brazil and Italy, which helped to adjust those sizes for real-world conditions and make them extremely crisp and responsive. Our sizes 4.7 and smaller received some slight adjustments to make the head open a touch more, making them feel even lighter in the rider's hands while keeping the power necessary to perform in any conditions from side-offshore to onshore. What is the Cross?
A high performance sail for windsurfing and windsurf foiling.
What inspired the Cross?
David Ezzy needed one sail that would satisfy his two loves, foiling and windsurfing. He took what he learned from the past 4 years of foiling and combined it with his 40 years of wave and freeriding to come up with the Cross.
How does the Cross compare to last year’s Hydra and Hydra Pro?
The Cross is much lighter weight compared to the Hydras with similar stability, speed, and handling while being much better for fin freeriding.
How does it compare to the Cheetah?
The Cross is maneuverable and light in the hands, providing a bump-n-jump freeride experience, whereras the Cheetah provides a locked-in freeride experience. For high wind freeriding, we recommend the 4.7 Cross as the next size below the 5.5 Cheetah.
How does the Cross achieve high performance for both foiling and regular windsurfing?
The Cross can be rigged flat with a shallow yet defined profile for foiling OR rigged full with a deep, forward profile for freeride and bump’n’jump. The settings are easy to see with our calibrated downhaul gauge.
