Through the past year we have worked with Ricardo Campello, Robby Naish and our test team to fine tune the Force 4. In addition to a fresh new color combo we went through and improved the range size-by-size. For the 5.0 and up we kept the more powerful feel with a slightly tighter leech, accommodating the need for plenty of sail power, especially in onshore and side-onshore conditions. In addition to Maui, testing was done in Brazil and Italy, which helped to adjust those sizes for real-world conditions and make them extremely crisp and responsive. Our sizes 4.7 and smaller received some slight adjustments to make the head open a touch more, making them feel even lighter in the rider's hands while keeping the power necessary to perform in any conditions from side-offshore to onshore. More power. All the control. The Blade delivers 5-batten stability without the traditional weight compromise. Forward driving profiles and reduced backhand pressure mean slight wind variations go unnoticed. The sail does the work; you focus on sailing. The 026 Blade has been rebuilt from the ground up to increase power and integrate the latest development concepts: XR Xtended Range: Developed to increase wind range at both the lower AND higher ends. Deeper, more powerful profiles are locked in place with added skin tension to enhance control and stability. Fat Head: Originally developed for the S-1, the increased head roach opens further under load, improving high-end control and wind range. Smaller sizes have relatively fatter heads whilst bigger sizes balance the head size for better aero efficiency. DirectConnect: A system of directly connecting the load points of the sail to any hardware – masts, battens and boom. Zero lag means the sail reacts instantly to rider input. CarbonFusion Trickle-Down: The BladePro construction is trickling down into the Blade, with welded foot panels and carbon load transfer strips in the head and tack. Gradient Panel Technology: Overlapped corners logically reduce weight, increase strength and control stretch. The 026 Blade sets a new standard by integrating these design concepts with industry-leading materials, including VX2, SpiderFibre, eM4 as well as the new D6 Dacron in the luff. 2026 Simmer Blacktip Team Carbon
The all new Blacktip Team Carbon will bring your wave sailing to the next level, as it has done for 2025 Wave World Champion , Marc Paré. Engineered with our new ultra-technical carbon fiber scrim, its fibers are precisely aligned along the sail’s load paths for instant power transfer and ultimate control. The result: lightning-fast response, massive wind range, and effortless handling — pure performance without compromise.
The new carbon scrim material has allowed us to completely redesign the panel layout, reinforcements, and luff curves. Traditional dacron patches have been replaced with welded carbon reinforcements for optimal load distribution throughout the entire sail body, maximizing the active sail area and overall performance.
The Team Carbon incorporates several advanced technical upgrades. The clew section has been completely redesigned with overlapping panels, where converging carbon fibers in different warp orientations create a stronger structure and improved load distribution across the main panel. On top of this, carbon scrim batten pockets have been added to dramatically enhance sail control and profile stability.
This has been Marc Paré’s passion project since returning to the Simmer Style team in 2024. It represents one of the most extensive R&D efforts in the company’s history.
