2023/24 Ezzy Zeta Windsurfing Sail – Blue
You might remember David Ezzy’s North Zeta from the late 80’s and early 90’s. The original Zeta shocked windsurfing back then by being the first 5-batten wave sail. Fast forward a few decades and some intensive R&D, and the Ezzy Zeta rides again.
The Zeta’s constant drive and easy acceleration make the Zeta the perfect sail for onshore waveriding and bump’n’jump conditions. The Zeta’s stable profile gets going right off the beach.
In fact, the Zeta is Graham Ezzy’s sail of choice for all professional wave competitions: “When I’m competing, I have only 12 minutes in each heat to do all my jumps, wave rides, and tricks. The Banzai Pro is the “go to” 4 batten worldwide wave sail for our top riders Marcilio Browne (PWA wave world champion) and Loick Lesauvage. The Banzai Pro is the answer and solution to all demands of a light weight, direct power delivery, wide range sail with heaps of flex feel and control. The adaptability of the Banzai Pro is unparalleled.
Unique to the Banzai Pro design 2021 concept is the back-hand throttle control. The sail pulls forward from “low RPMs” and is very balanced, but there is always a little “extra” available off the back hand for when you really need to juice up into a jump or maneuver. This tactile back-hand feel gives you a direct connection to how the sail is loading and releasing and allows you stay connected throughout your maneuvers. Marcilio Browne has driven this concept, insisting that the sails maintain the connected feel, providing him supreme confidence and control through technical and radical maneuvers. There is a trend in the market for more “neutral” feeling wave sails, and while there is a place for more of that on other Goya models, the Banzai Pro is designed for a more positive rider connection to instant power delivery. The Banzai Pro window material is Bi-Ply film. This “sleeper” feature is a massive step up from mono film. Bi-Ply is two layers of laminated clear film, lasting about 3x longer than mono film. It is UV protected and highly resistant to hard creases. The Pro-1 boom head is fully articulated, so regardless of what height the boom is set at, there will be no excess tension on the boom arms or the mast. It also ensures that if the boom head is not level with the clew, the boom will not pull at the leech or foot of the sail.
These carbon booms come into their own in choppy or overpowered conditions - their stiffness resists arm bending, and prevents the rig from distorting and causing you problems!

MFC and Kevin Pritchard, former wave world champion, developed this new fin concept also in G-10 construction. The straight outline allows for very early planning and radical upwind ability, but the fin is incredibly maneuvrable due to its narrow outline and cord.
The profile is the fastest, generated by our KPR model and adapted to this wave model. Ideal for all around wave conditions can be use also for freewave conditions.

MK CPSL MKII Full Carbon Freerace Windsurfing Boom 190-250cm
Model Code: CPSL (Carbon Pro Slalom)
This boom was designed for the larger sails and the rigours and load of the Slalom format. The tapering oval grip makes the grip area a comfortable 29mm while retaining the stiffness required for big sizes. This boom is truly outstanding in that the stiffness is right up there with booms costing twice the price. This when compared with the CPS has a wider slalom bend curve and a wide tail to minimise the sail touching the boom arm thereby giving the sail more power. If it is more control you want, then consider the CPS.
