A smooth and stable blade tuned for 0 to 10 mph (0 to 16 km/h) for getting up on foil. Available in S, M, L sizes.
All 3 sizes have the same total length of 194 cm total length including blade, shaft and handle. Shaft allows for custom cutting to your ideal length. Blade and shaft come assembled. Handle is not assembled. Glue is not included.
S (Small): 87 in², 25 cm width. Best for short boards or smaller riders. The S blade is slightly more efficient, with a faster cadence, but offers less power per stroke and less stability for bracing. M (Medium): 95 in², 25 cm width. The intermediate size. The M blade provides a balance between efficiency and power, making it suitable for a wide range of conditions and rider sizes. It offers a good combination of stability, power, and cadence. L (Large): 105 in², 25 cm width. Ideal for longer boards or larger riders. The L blade delivers maximum power per stroke, providing strong propulsion and stability, making it perfect for powerful paddlers and those using larger boards.

WING FOIL
The Hover Ascend Wing Board series has been specifically designed for a specialized usage in the field of wing foiling. Designed to be ridden a size smaller than our Hover Wing Foil Carbon Ultras, they offer a comparably thinner parallel planform with increased waterline. The parallel outline and increased water line makes it possible to get on the foil with minimal effort. In the smaller sizes (up to the 92) these boards are crafted with a flat tail rocker while the larger sizes feature a tail kick that makes them suitable for dual-purpose use as both SUP foil boards and wing foil boards. ABOUT DEVELOPMENT
The Above development took inspiration from learnings in downwind SUP and Wingfoiling. Learning from the longer, narrow designs of the Ace Foil, we wanted the same efficiency and speed to take off in light winds. However, we aimed for more maneuverability and forgiveness on touchdowns, requiring slightly shorter lengths while maintaining the narrow outlines crucial for fast take-offs. Combining the parallel mid-section from the Take Off range, the pronounced Vee nose from the X-15, and a compromise to widen the nose and tail outline, we created the Above.WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THE SHAPE?
Various volumes and sizes allow first-time riders to get up on foil easily, while intermediate riders will enjoy light wind winging and easy freeriding in all wind conditions. Additional volume in the nose and tail allows you to have an even stance over the foil before flight, while the combination of a longer and narrower outline easily generates speed for early lift off. A parallel nose with sharp rails gives the Above easy-to-recover touchdowns, with instant rebound. The Above concept was inspired by blending our favourite models, with speed and fast lift off inspired from our narrower, Ace range and blended ideas from our favourite models through the years.
