BLADE _CONTROL ORIENTED WAVE
The Blade has defined the 5-batten wave sail category for nearly two decades.
With the new GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY improvements are obvious. Lighter weight and better stability.
Corners have overlapped panels which reduces the amount of patching. At the same time, these overlapped areas extend into the body of the sail so it transitions the load much better, will be less stretched over time. It’s a more stable way of building sails.
Rather than a single curved luff panel, the Blade uses separate panels that radiate out of the head and tack corners. This perfectly aligns the sail material with the direction of load. Previously the curved panel would have bias stretch in all the wrong places. Direct transmission of power. Increased longevity. Total Control.

Forward driving profiles and reduced backhand pressure mean slight wind variations go unnoticed. The sail does the work; you focus on sailing. The 026 Blade has been rebuilt from the ground up to increase power and integrate the latest development concepts: XR Xtended Range: Developed to increase wind range at both the lower AND higher ends. Deeper, more powerful profiles are locked in place with added skin tension to enhance control and stability. Fat Head: Originally developed for the S-1, the increased head roach opens further under load, improving high-end control and wind range. Smaller sizes have relatively fatter heads whilst bigger sizes balance the head size for better aero efficiency. DirectConnect: A system of directly connecting the load points of the sail to any hardware – masts, battens and boom. Zero lag means the sail reacts instantly to rider input. 2026 Severne Stone Windsurfing Board
026 STONE ~ Jaeger style.
A real wave board, with the flow and looseness to get creative and the reliability to be confident. Excelling in down-the-line conditions, the Stone is also fast enough to be used in onshore or average conditions. More curve in the back of the Stone enables it to fit deep in the pocket of the wave. The sleek outline is narrower and longer to handle speed. Combined with a rounded pintail and a reduced nose width, this board reacts to any rider input. Fast concave bottom shapes to jump like Jaeger. It’s built in premium Carbon/S-glass construction, and can be setup as either a quad fin or a thruster. Jaeger uses both; quad for control when the waves get bigger, and thruster for when he wants added power. Having both options in a single board makes a lot more sense than having two nearly identical boards with different fin configurations. Saves cash and space in the board bag. The Stone board feels connected to the wave. It’s fast, fluid and fun. It converts wave power into kinetic energy so you can then turn it into buckets of spray. Jaeger says: “I live in Geraldton, but am forever chasing forecasts at the premium down-the-line, pure wave spots in W.A. When I pack the Landcruiser, this is the board that’s in the back. Slightly longer, with refined rails flowing into a rounded pintail.
