Early planing and easy pumping The wide tail allows you to step into the back strap before you start and stays nicely balanced in the water. The tail kick bottom breaks the surface tension and allows the board to rock up quickly. Easy acceleration and lift-off The V-shaped, double concave bottom helps you accelerating. After using the 117ltr for a year and loving the way it makes foiling easy it was time to move to the 97ltr which feels wobbly to start with but I can float on it even in under powered conditions (at 93kg).
I now run the 97ltr with all footstraps and it makes for a super locked in feel ready for jumping when I am good enough 🙂
