Instead of chasing maximum glide or racetail efficiency, Atom focuses on giving riders a more intuitive, connected feel with the foil, where every input translates cleanly and predictably.
The carbon construction lets you run a smaller tail while keeping the same lift, cutting drag and sharpening response. Setups feel shorter, lighter, and easier to place through turns, whitewater hits, freestyle moves, and landings. Everything becomes more reactive without becoming twitchy.

Description.
Tuned for realworld conditions, not just the racecourse. This design philosophy has been proven in competition. Kane won Paddle Imua, Maui to Molokai, placed second at Molokai to Oahu, and secured the overall Koa Kai Triple Crown on a Solus 775 while many competitors were riding front wings closer to 500 cm2. It’s a foil built from racewinning DNA, but tuned for riders who want speed, control, and pure enjoyment in realworld conditions.Solus is built around efficiency, control, and adaptability. Instead of chasing ultrahigh aspect ratios or relying on bruteforce stiffness, Kane focused on extracting speed through refined geometry and section design. The result is a foil that delivers racelevel performance while staying accessible, intuitive, and genuinely enjoyable for intermediate and advanced riders.
At the heart of the design is a reflexed center section that reduces pitch tension between the front and rear wings. This lets Solus run shorter fuselages and smaller rear wings without adding tail angle, unlocking lower drag, improved stability, and a setup that adapts easily across conditions.
From there, the center section transitions into thinner, more agile tips with increased camber. Halo is designed as a high performance surf foil that still excels in realworld conditions. Its focus is on speed, glide, and a lively, reactive feel rather than maximum lowspeed lift. Compared to the Nomad, you trade a bit of lowend forgiveness for noticeably better topend speed, more glide, and a more dynamic response.Halo handles turbulent and aerated water with confidence, staying smooth and composed through foam. The smaller spans across the size range help reduce grab in chop, keeping the foil clean, predictable, and stable when you’re pushing speed.
While surf performance is the priority, Halo also shines in wing freestyle, powered riding, and even some wake applications, especially in the larger sizes, making it a versatile highperformance option across disciplines.
