Starboard’s innovative Take Off Air Foil is an inflatable foilboard board that is compact, easy to transport, and built for high performance. Featuring Starboard’s innovative patented standing plate directly mounted to the foil base, the top plate brings you millimeters from the foil, giving you the best possible control and stiffness.

Updated & Improved Carbon Plate

The Take Off Air Foil model introduces a refined carbon plate with enhanced usability and stability. New slots allow for quicker and easier foil installation, securing nuts and bolts in place similar to composite boards. The plate is now 2 cm longer, expanding the standing area for improved balance and easier takeoffs. Additionally, a redesigned EVA pad eliminates open slots on the deck, preventing water entry into the plug area.

DIRECT FOIL RESPONSE

Patented Top Plate Technology, with just 1.5 cm between your feet and the foil, provides direct feedback and improved control. Combined with the solid standing plate, it enhances the flight experience on the inflatable foil board, eliminating any wobbly sensations.

A newly designed carbon plate is now 2 cm longer, increasing stability and aiding riders in smoother, easier takeoffs.

NEW VEE SHAPED NOSE

Inspired by the proven X-15 and Take Off ranges, the Vee nose reduces drag for early takeoffs, allowing you to get up flying faster. It is more forgiving on touchdowns, enabling quick recovery to rebound and continue flying.

Sealed EVA Deck Pad

A closed EVA pad prevents water from entering the foil plug area from the deck, keeping the board dry and minimizing water weight during sessions.

CARRY HANDLE STRAP

Features a secure centre carry handle strap for easy handling with foil.

CURVED ROCKER

The rocker is lifted in the nose and tail for easier takeoffs and more forgiving touchdowns.

COMPACT OUTLINE

The Take Off, which takes its inspiration from the Wingboard composite, has a balanced, wide, and short form that makes it ideal for freestyle foiling and provides good stability prior to takeoff.

RAIL EDGE RELEASE & EVA PLUG

The 3D Rail Edge enhances planing before takeoff, while the EVA Plug seals the foil mount for smoother water flow. Together, they reduce drag and boost acceleration for faster, more efficient takeoffs on your inflatable foilboard.

WELDED RAIL TECHNOLOGY

The Welded Rail Technology creates a completely airtight, mechanically bonded seam without the risk of glue weakening over time. This makes Starboard inflatable boards stronger and longer lasting.

All inflatable foil boards feature welded rails, both along the board and at the foil opening.

ADJUSTABLE FOOTSTRAPS INCLUDED

With an 18cm distance between the inserts, you can have a wider foot strap span for better trim and control while foiling since you can micro-adjust your feet position.

4 different positions for the footstraps in the front and 5 different positions for the straps in the back are available.

Footstrap set included with Take Off Deluxe Lite Carbon only.

LEASH, PUMP AND BAG

Included with the board: a coil leash, Tiki Pump with dual nozzles for both board and wing, and a travel-friendly wheelie bag that fits a complete wing foil set.
