Mid-sized blades are an ideal fit for the great majority of average size paddlers. - The volume of the buoyant, full carbon, blades creates an exceedingly light feel for effortless and confident strokes.
- Dynel® edges protect the paddle from the rigorous environment paddlers often find themselves in. A roping material, dynel is impact and abrasion resistant.
- Dihedral allows for smooth and stable forward paddling, a core philosophy for Werner.
- Smooth back face makes for cleaner entry and exit of your strokes and an elegant feel on the water.
- Optimized flex and strength. Choose our carbon Straight or Neutral Bent shaft in Standard Diameter or Small Diameter.
- Although our Ultimate performance paddles are far and away our best paddling, their unique design characteristics and materials do not make them our most impact resistant. Look to our Premium paddles for the highest impact resistance.

The Drift classic feature an aluminium paddle shaft, this then incorporates moulded in hand grips which are plastic coasted for comfort, it also comes fully fitted with kayak drip rings which help to prevent the water from running down onto the hands. The paddle blades are then mad from a tough and durable polypropylene with is glass reinforced. These are asymmetric in shape and also have a slight dihedral for performance.

Werner 2pc Padded Touring paddle Bag
Werner has designed their bag for paddles to feature a tough and durable construction and it is also well padded to give reasonable levels of protection. However; when it comes to the fine detail the paddle bags are slightly different.
The kayak split paddle bag features a full length so the paddles are easily loaded. Once the bag opens each side features a pocket at opposite ends. This makes it easy to then put the paddles into the pockets to stop them bashing against each other. The bag then features a centrally located carry handle so it’s easy to transport.

The Werner Tybee FG is an excellent entry level Touring paddle.
The Werner Tybee’s glass fibre reinforced nylon blades are combined with Werner’s straight carbon reinforced glass shaft, providing a strong, steady, but lightweight paddling experience.
The mid-size blades feature a light swing weight and are suitable for a low angle paddling style, typically seen in sea kayaking and touring.
The Werner Tybee FG is often used by touring and sit on top paddlers who are entering into coastal and inland kayaking.
