The Verso is the fast-track progression platform for improvers to advanced intermediates.The Verso is specifically designed and fully tested to assist you in all aspects of Freeride windsurfing and is especially reassuring for those learning all variations of gybing.
Performance characteristics include; a centralised buoyancy for enhanced stability and control when working your way into the harness and straps. A progressive rocker-line promotes acceleration for super early planing and gybing exits. Push it onto its rail for full speed blasting, and you’ll still feel the acceleration to push the limit of your comfort zone.
The hardest move you’ll learn on a windsurfer is the gybe. The Verso covers this with a very stable approach, a controllable carve, and increased exit speed. This board is intentionally designed and has been proven to assist the rider through the key stages of the turn and build consistency.
Simplifying the technical challenges a progressing windsurfer has to face is the main goal of the Verso. Everything is pre tuned for you; The purpose-built Verso powerbox fin is ready to go. The logical three-stage foot strap insert options cover the core phases of progression and both fin and straps can be fitted, tuned, and positioned quickly with the HEX4 tool (included). Full wood sandwich lamination of 0.6mm Australian Pinewood over modern, recyclable 3mm PET core foam ensures durability and comfort in a good strength to weight ratio. Today’s wood is less visible in modern graphics; UV protected by fresh blue paint and stickers that compliment the natural grain with a really nice effect. A classy re-edition of a classic Starboard Original. THE CARVE IN DETAIL The exciting new 2023 Carves deliver big on effortless planing, autopilot jibing and a controlled ride in any conditions. We never felt so accomplished about a board range. Each board individually shaped for the intended conditions and skill level. On the larger sizes, a long flat section makes for extra easy passive planing and a smooth ride to let you find the footstraps effortlessly. Midrange sizes carve like a small board, yet switching your stance and flipping the sail you have the confidence of a bigger board, thanks to a combination of thinned out rails towards the tail and thicker forward rails. The small sizes deliver a true sporty feel with higher top end speed and that extra bit of control you’ll need for windsurfing confidently in strong wind.

Oversized cutaways extend all the way to the front footstrap, making the GO152 ride free even at high speed; it’s a fast board despite its size. The GO’s straps position enhance gybing, as you usually prefer to have the front foot further forward. The longer tail area helps exiting gybes as the board keeps levelled through the gybe. Middle fin option: The Starlite tech option has a middle fin box in case you wish to learn windsurfing in light winds and need that stability and added upwind “hold”.
Introducing the GO 2026 range – our iconic One For All reimagined. The new GO 152 (260 x 80 cm) features huge 3 cm deep cutaways for enhanced displacement mode and smooth planing up to 25 knots.
