Full wood sandwich lamination of 0.6mm Australian Pinewood, ensures durability and comfort in a good strength to weight ratio. Today’s wood is less visible in modern graphics; UV protected by fresh blue paint and stickers that compliment the natural grain with a really nice effect. A classy re-edition of a classic Starboard Original.

The exciting new 2024 Carves deliver big on effortless planing, autopilot jibing and a controlled ride in any conditions. We never felt so accomplished about a board range. Each board individually shaped for the intended conditions and skill level. On the larger sizes, a long flat section makes for extra easy passive planing and a smooth ride to let you find the footstraps effortlessly. Midrange sizes carve like a small board, yet switching your stance and flipping the sail you have the confidence of a bigger board, thanks to a combination of thinned out rails towards the tail and thicker forward rails. The small sizes deliver a true sporty feel with higher top end speed and that extra bit of control you’ll need for windsurfing confidently in strong wind.

This package pairs them with the stiff 72cm V8 alloy mast, found to be the optimum length for the pump foil discipline. Gliders are ideal for lakes, flat water foiling and connecting multiple smaller waves. The Glider 1700 brings huge lift and is great for pump foiling, ultra light wing wingfoiling. The 1400 works well for light weight riders for pump-foiling and also a sensible largest front wing for intermediate to advanced wing foilers. The Glider's high aspect ratio and relatively straight leading edge increases flight efficiency for a maximum glide with less drag. Ultralight weight, premium value and using more environmentally friendly materials. The bottom is built in full T700 uni-directional flat-woven carbon for maximum stiffness while the deck is 60% carbon, alternating between uni-directional and bi-axial carbon layers for optimized flex. The composite sandwich layers include the use of ultra-high density PET and PVC foam. For 2023, the Magenta highlighted Carbon Sandwich is a new construction for the Kode line.
