The Hover Ascend Wing Board series has been specifically designed for a specialized usage in the field of wing foiling. Designed to be ridden a size smaller than our Hover Wing Foil Carbon Ultras, they offer a comparably thinner parallel planform with increased waterline. The parallel outline and increased water line makes it possible to get on the foil with minimal effort. In the smaller sizes (up to the 92) these boards are crafted with a flat tail rocker while the larger sizes feature a tail kick that makes them suitable for dual-purpose use as both SUP foil boards and wing foil boards. Hold the wind in your hands with a sail or with a wing, feel the foil below elevate you above the water as you fly across the water silently, powered purely by the wind and waves. 2-in-1, the Foil X Wing series covers wind foil and wing foil all in one board.
Based on the Foil X model, the same features that make the Foil X work for wind foiling make them ideal for wing foiling: the ultra-compact outlines make them easy to control, easy to maneuver and light for take off. The extended flat bottom shapes make them accelerate, gather speed and reach take off speed with less power. The rail cut-aways help you sink the tail to pop up onto the foil and the wide nose and wide tail makes the board stable to stand on. To convert from wind foil to wing foil, simply remove the wind foil from the tail and mount the wing foil to the twin US box tracks. Optionally, you can move footstraps to the wing-foil positions to add control. Two leash inserts allow you to secure the board to your ankle and the wing to the board.

KT Apex Ultra High Modulus Carbon
A forwardoffset, multiairfoil profile is tuned for submerged efficiency and ventilation resistance, while minimizing spray drag during surface contact. The aggressive taper comes from extensive video analysis of how riders engage different mast zones across disciplines and conditions, then refined through flexpattern mapping and airfoil optimization. The payoff is a mast that stays composed through chop, resists ventilation when you’re pushing hard, and delivers a clean, connected feel that lets you ride with total confidence.
The Apex series stands apart because every mast is designed independently from the ground up. Each size gets its own sectional variation, taper, and performance priorities not a scaledup or scaleddown version of a single profile. That allows the 77 to focus on unpowered speed, glide, and maneuverability for downwind racing, performance surf, and wake foiling. The 85 is tuned as the allrounder for wing foiling, wave riding, and freestyle control, while the 95 is built for highspeed wingpowered riding where ventilation resistance, stability through chop, and control at deep lean angles or in big waves matter most.
Across the lineup, the mast uses multiple airfoils along the span, each tuned for low submerged drag, strong ventilation resistance, and minimal spray drag during surface contact. Designed by Kane de Wilde, the leaner leading edge with thickness carried farther back helps the mast pierce the surface more cleanly, reducing spray and keeping the ride smoother and quieter.
Above the waterline, Apex incorporates a forwardswept design for structural reasons, aligning the carbon fiber with the downandforward load path riders generate while winging. This reduces twist and improves efficiency through the baseplate zone, keeping the mast feeling solid and predictable under heavy load. The trailing edge stays close to vertical with a subtle taper toward the bottom for clean release and stability. All sizes feature a forwardoffset baseplate to reduce swing weight and create a more direct, connected feel to the foil. The updated baseplate fairing blends more cleanly into the plate, lowering drag for smoother touchdowns and quicker, more efficient takeoffs.
