Smaller sizes of the Nexus Pro are now cut with higher foots for tight maneuvering, and larger sizes are cut more for low-end power and speed. The Nexus Pro transforms to suit the conditions. Construction
Pro Monofilm & Scrim
Monofilm Window Panels. Monofilm offers crystal clear optics, light weight and a crisp direct feel.
Scrim Body Panels. The colored Scrim material used in the main panels offers super strong durability, super light weight and a supple and alive feel throughout the sail.
X-Ply Luff Panels. Delivering just the right blend between elasticity needed for a luff panel and crispness needed for a sail that’s supposed to go extra fast and extra stable.
Features. Carbon Stretch Control, Titanium Clew Ring, Rip Stop Sleeve and a Molded Tack Fairing round off the peak quality package. Sleeve cut treatments as well as tack and foot reinforcements are now folded to increase durability and prevent edge fraying. A wide upper leech Marker reinforcement prevents breakdown of the leech in strong wind conditions such as Pozo, the Gorge and Omaezaki.

A focus on maximum maneuverability and control in surf and surf like conditions. This all new design has a very neutral feel. You are free to draw your own lines on the wave and surf exactly how you want. Effortless drive and lightness allowing you to sail for hours. Handling Characteristic: Banzai Surf Pro is a bit more high aspect with a shorter boom compared to Banzai 11 Pro and Banzai Max this combined with the lower and more centered positioned lift gives you a balanced neutral feel for maximum control and maneuverability. Taking our latest and most progressive wave shapes and increasing both length and width ever so slightly results in what is your go-to if you prefer a Thruster setup, yet as radical a wave board as the Quad. Akin to the Banzai concept, this is essentially one wave board tuned in two ways. Originating from the same new exuberant shapes as the Custom Quad, with the addition of a faster and sharper tail rocker, the Custom Thruster packs even more speed, stability and waft than the Quad. Easily as radical, the Thruster however is a touch more forgiving. The primary target of these progressive boards was applying the learnings from our new favorite Custom Quads and adding much more range to them. Voilà the Custom Thruster 4 Pro Carbon. Generation 4. Both boards are faster and lighter with added comfort and control. Custom built US boxes for lightness and compatibility, removed deck sticker for lightness and sustainability. Keeping in mind how more and more people love the Custom Thruster for bump & jump riding, drove us to also focus on refining the lowend speed characteristics, to plane earlier, jump higher, while not deviating an inch from those radical turns that stay with you long after your session has ended. Goya Banzai Pro Windsurfing Sail – Yellow 5.3 Now £499
The Banzai Pro is the “go to” 4 batten worldwide wave sail for our top riders Marcilio Browne (PWA wave world champion) and Loick Lesauvage. The Banzai Pro is the answer and solution to all demands of a light weight, direct power delivery, wide range sail with heaps of flex feel and control. The adaptability of the Banzai Pro is unparalleled.
Unique to the Banzai Pro design 2021 concept is the back-hand throttle control. The sail pulls forward from “low RPMs” and is very balanced, but there is always a little “extra” available off the back hand for when you really need to juice up into a jump or maneuver. This tactile back-hand feel gives you a direct connection to how the sail is loading and releasing and allows you stay connected throughout your maneuvers. Marcilio Browne has driven this concept, insisting that the sails maintain the connected feel, providing him supreme confidence and control through technical and radical maneuvers. There is a trend in the market for more “neutral” feeling wave sails, and while there is a place for more of that on other Goya models, the Banzai Pro is designed for a more positive rider connection to instant power delivery. The Banzai Pro window material is Bi-Ply film. This “sleeper” feature is a massive step up from mono film. Bi-Ply is two layers of laminated clear film, lasting about 3x longer than mono film. It is UV protected and highly resistant to hard creases. Its added cost compared to mono film is worth double when unrolling a supple sounding sail, and endlessly valuable when falling and not breaking your sail.
