Tide advice: 2 hours before HIGH TIDE and 3 hours after the tide runs West into Southampton Harbour. 2 hours before LOW TIDE and 3 hours after the tide runs EAST.
You can launch at any state of tide but the trick in anything Easterly is go around LOW TIDE and when the wind is Westerly go around HIGH TIDE and you will always get pushed into wind which is especially good in light wind or for riding swell on foils!
