MANOEUVRE ORIENTED WAVE
The S-1 is a high performance 4 batten wave sail. The reduced batten count makes this sail light, flexible and responsive. Less structural rigidity gives a bigger sweet-spot, and allows the sail to auto-correct during wave-riding by giving the draft just enough movement to ensure constant power delivery.
Developed on an identical platform as the S-1 Pro, this S-1 replicates the dynamic performance in a more accessible construction. Skin tension has been increased on the larger sizes to allow for a wider range of rigging options;
/ Minimal downhaul for light wind power. Still maintains enough tension to stop the sail from distorting over chop or landing jumps.
/ Maximum downhaul for even better top end stability.
The S-1 has more back-hand pressure than the Blade, ensuring there’s always some juice to go vert or launch moves.
Built in quality eM3 materials, SpiderFibre, and with a Dacron luff panel for smooth power delivery, this sail is engineered for performance. Now with eM4 in the lower panels the S-1 is stronger and lighter.

Engineered for any type of conditions, this lightweight powerhouse redefines responsiveness. The S-1 has more back-hand pressure than the Blade, calibrated to go vertical or launch into aerial moves.
A fat head on the latest generation S-1 opens more under load to increase the performance envelope; more high-end control and wind range. The aspect ratio has been decreased on the smaller sizes to reduce twitchiness. Combined with the fatter head, the area distribution is more obvious.
The 025 S-1 utilises XFusion technology; ultrasonically welding the foot panels, negating the need for stitching. Lighter, more responsive, and no stitching to wear out. XFusion is an evolution of CarbonFusion technology used in the PRO sails that have trickled down to more accessible models.

This is one of the most important characteristics. And we do lightweight sails better than anyone.

Reduced draft movement means there’s less influence on trim. Better to keep everything constant. Cams keep the sail profile stable and minimize any movement.

The high-aspect design is more stable, more efficient, and more controllable. The shorter boom lengths are easy to manage, and position the Centre of Effort directly above the foil. Developed with Gonzalo Costa Hoevel (ARG-3) and Matteo Iachino (I-140) for the new world of foil racing, the HyperGlide 5 is set to become the most complete foil racing sail to date.
In sizes 5,0 – 8,0 the HyperGlide 5 is focused on full power slalom where top-end velocity and precision control make the difference between victory or carnage. Sizes 9,0 – 10,0 offer a tighter leech and deeper draft for extreme upwind/downwind performance.
Added power and the ability to point enable you to ride a smaller foil set-up in lighter winds; the key to going fast. A bigger sleeve provides the stability needed to handle the added power and improve low-end, as well as, upwind performance.
Regulated backhand pressure means power is always available when needed. Maximum control is achieved through stability – the less movement in the rig, the easier it is to maintain trim.
Ultra-high aspect ratios keep the boom length short, minimizing the distance profile can move backward. High skin tension and a rigid framework of 7 tube battens and 4 XL cams lock everything in place, creating a highly efficient race machine.
