Demand for SEVERNE harness lines has finally been satisfied. Rather than just re-badge any generic harness line, we evaluated what was required to improve on anything in the market. Durability, safety and performance were the 3 factors we identified, and have addressed each point;
DURABILITY
Stronger tubing results in less rope wear. We have developed custom extrusion with a thicker wall (2mm) and using high-denisity PU. Strong nylon webbing replaces standard poly-prop for increased UV resisitance and less wear.
SAFETY
Coloured tube hides any sign of rope wear, so the first you know of it is when the harness line snaps out at sea. We keep it clear so any signs of rope wear are clearly visible.
PERFORMANCE
Minimal swing design keeps the harness line in position.

The Volar Carbon is our ultimate user-friendly Windsurfing board to grow, learn and enjoy the sport at all levels. The board is fast, stable and accelerates with each gust of wind. On a straight line or gybing, the Volar Carbon rides naturally giving the rider all the confidence to push their level on every move. With its thinner profile on the water or in the air, the new Volar Carbon feels glued to your feet. Each size was individually created to match the specific conditions giving the larger volumes a proportionally wider and longer outline, with added balance and the early planing needed for the lighter conditions. The smaller sizes have a smoother bottom curve for the added control needed on the rougher days. You can also alter the character of these boards by simply adjusting the straps, using single or double footstrap on the tail or in its three levels from inboard to outboard settings. By positioning the volume flow further back, reducing overall length, keeping the rails more parallel further back and most importantly modifying the rocker and flat spot helps adjust the initial entry, control, and speed of the board. Refinements to find the magical combination of these changes resulted in a line the whole team is stoked on! The new Volar Carbon is easier to stand on when not planing, faster to get going and quicker to respond to rider input to stay in control and push yourself from beginner to intermediate as fast as possible. Take off in the lightest breeze and fly through the lulls. The whole board sits just on top of the water and from the footstraps you can maintain total control and perfect trim. Entry into jibes as well as exit speed out has also improved significantly, making these boards a blast to drag race against your friends on the weekends. These new shapes increase the overall wind-range and responsiveness. Inspired by the success of the Proton Pro we were able to accomplish our goals by moving the volume flow further back, reducing overall length, keeping the rails more parallel further back, and most importantly, modifying the rocker and flat spot to adjust the initial entry and overall control of the board. The boards take off in the light of breezes and fly through the lulls. The whole bottom sits just on top of the water, and from the footstraps you can maintain total control and perfect trim. Entry into jibes and exit speed out has also improved significantly, making these boards that much fun to ride or race with your friends. The new Goya Windsurfing boards now come packed in recycled cardboard and paper tape only. No plastic bags. Keeping your planet, our planet, one step cleaner. Wave performance and also high wind comfort, confidence and control in any water condition. The vinyl window makes the Guru X Pro unique. It creates a very smooth and comfortable power delivery, as well as the most durable sail in our lineup. Vinyl is practically indestructible and will stay crystal clear for the life of the sail. The new Guru X Pro is the result of 25 years of design evolution and the process and progress continues.
Francisco Goya claims it as his personal favorite, and as of late, Levi Siver has been spending time on the Guru X Pro in the pure wave conditions of Ho’okipa and loving it. Makes sense, because that’s where the design was born and established many years ago. Continuing its development around the world, high winds of The Gorge, and spots like Pozo have helped to tune up the smaller sizes to work as magnificent as the rest of the line. The goal has always been for the 3.2 to feel like the 4.7 and through lots of prototypes and testing in those extreme conditions were we finally able to achieve it. Guru X Pro offers a huge rigging range. With it’s soft power delivery and smooth progressive twist, you can rig this sail very full and still fill comfortably in control. Rigging the sail flatter on the outhaul is possible for a more neutral handling feel in higher wind and maneuver-oriented conditions.
